The Excel V+ Laser is highly effective in treating various conditions, including rosacea, diffuse redness, facial and leg veins, periorbital veins, angiomas, port wine stains, poikiloderma, wrinkles, bruising, inflammatory acne, benign pigmented lesions, age spots, scars, and acne scars. Treatments with the Excel V+ are generally well-tolerated, with most patients describing the sensation as feeling like a warm rubber band snapping against the skin. During the procedure, a gel may be applied to the treatment area, and a cooling tip from the handpiece will make contact with the skin. After treatment, some areas may appear slightly sunburned for 2-12 hours with mild swelling around the vessels. Rosacea-related redness typically starts to improve within 12-72 hours, and there may be moderate swelling in certain treated areas.
