Medical Weight Management & Holistic Wellness
Sustainable weight management involves far more than restrictive dieting or short-term solutions. Our clinic provides Nurse Practitioner led medical weight management within a holistic wellness framework, helping you address the underlying factors that influence weight, metabolism, and overall health.
We focus on safe, evidence-based care that considers the whole person — including lifestyle, metabolic health, hormonal balance, mental wellbeing, and long-term habits. Each plan is tailored to your individual health profile and goals, with ongoing guidance to support meaningful, sustainable change.
Initial Consultation – $100
Your first medical weight management consultation is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand the full picture of your health — not just the number on the scale.
During this appointment, your doctor will review and discuss:
-
Medical history and current medications
-
Your weight journey and previous strategies
-
Lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, and activity
-
Personal goals, expectations, and readiness for change
Together, we explore the factors that may be influencing your weight and overall wellbeing. From there, your doctor will develop a personalised, evidence-based plan which may include lifestyle strategies, behavioural support, and where clinically appropriate, medical therapy.
Depending on your individual assessment, baseline pathology may be recommended to support safe prescribing and guide treatment decisions. This may include blood tests to evaluate metabolic health, hormone function, nutritional status, or other relevant markers. Any investigations are only requested when clinically appropriate and are discussed with you beforehand.
Review Consultations – $50
Follow-up consultations focus on ongoing care, safety, and long-term progress. These sessions provide an opportunity to monitor your response to treatment and ensure your plan continues to support your goals.
Review appointments may include:
-
Monitoring progress and response to treatment
-
Discussing any side effects or tolerability concerns
-
Adjusting your plan as your body adapts
-
Reviewing and interpreting pathology results if tests were undertaken
-
Providing education and practical strategies for sustainable lifestyle change

Weight management is approached as a long-term partnership rather than a quick fix. Care is individualised and paced appropriately, guided by clinical evidence as well as your personal experience and progress.
Where clinically appropriate, consultations may also be conducted via secure telehealth, allowing convenient access to care while maintaining the same level of clinical assessment, education, and ongoing support.
Important: Medical treatments or medications are only prescribed following a full consultation and clinical assessment by a doctor, and only where appropriate. Individual results vary and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
